Power Spectrum Analysis

The DAS Analyser includes a built-in power spectrum analysis. Here the F4 differential gap signal (hydraulic gap control) is analysed using the F4 roll linear speed signal analysed in work-roll revolution mode.

The thin black cursor in the bottom graph highlights a power peak corresponding to the 3rd harmonic of the bottom backup roll. The roll diameters used for this piece were sent from the Level 2 setup computer and archived with the signal trend data.
